SynComposer in an ongoing collaboration between visual artist Dan Spegel and Håkan Lidbo. It’s a multi-player, creative game for public spaces like an airport, a media festival or maybe a City Information Centre. By playing the SynComposer game you also explore three ways of visualizing music. And at the same time you collectively create music and animated art. The topic of the game is to block the opponents musical elements. But by interfering the opponents musical and visual plans you open for new plans and strategies. So the strategy also becomes a creative method. The game consists of 3 stations with small touch pads and built in speakers. The players movements at the stations are merged together and represented on a big LED screen with big speakers where both players and spectators can follow the game.
