Omnibus play Swedish techno classics.
Omnibus, Sweden’s finest Wind Chamber Orchestra, performed at the Voltfestivalen, June 6, 2009. They performed three classic Swedish techno 12″s in a stunningly beautiful arrangement by Mårten Josjö. The project was produced by Håkan Lidbo and the result was something very new and exciting.

Fuckin’ Critics is like any other records – but completely reversed. First 10 of Sweden’s most acclaimed music journalists wrote one review each – of a song that didn’t yet exist. The review were given to 10 established Swedish artists to interprate and make the music according to the review.

Kvarteret Skatan
Kvarteret Skatan is one of the most establish comedy series on Swedish Television. In 2006-2007 and 2009-2010 the characters of Skatan entered the stage at the Rival Theater in Stockholm. this time they were not just funny. They also sang. The music was made by Håkan Lidbo.

Svensk Inredningsmusik / Swedish Interior Music starts with nothing. No sounds and totally empty electronic instruments. Their method is making sound and music out of silence. When they perform, the silent audience is the only sound source. No matter how quiet they are.

Pay TV
Pay-tv consists of the three glamour girls Chanelle, Claudia and Neena. The dynamic trio met at a party att the Rectum Club in Munich and then stayed close friends. When they were offered to perform Trendy Discoteque it all became obvoius for them, they suddenly had a purpose in life, they were ment to be superstars.

Hzx5
Vidiots did this magnificent installation at Voltfestivalen 2009. 5 screens with manipulated faces, disturbingly morphing in synch with the music made by Håkan Lidbo. Some sort of static, electric sound, playing from 10 speakers. Hzx5 is a shameless celecration to electricity.

The Piano Showroom Session
In May 26 2007, 9 o’clock in the morning, Mathtiiaas Rosén and Håkan Lidbo met at the Steinway Piano Showroom in Stockholm. The music was totally improvised and in a natural way it ended up as 8 sessions of about 10 minutes each. The Piano Showroom Session is a musical meeting, a conversation in music.

Uppsala Analog Synthesizer Symphonic Orchestra
One of the unique projects at Voltfestivalen is the Uppsala Analog Synthesizer Symphonic Orchestra. World’s largest orchestra with only analog synths older than 1983. The conductor and maestro of the orchestra is Erik Möller. Håkan Lidbo was one of the initiators of the project.

Voltfestivalen 2009
Volt is the new Swedish Electronic Festial. Some of the most interesting and innovative artiists in Sweden together with international stars, weird installations and sound-art. They set the standards for future Volt festivals. Håkan Lidbo is one of the persons behind the organisation.

Alex Van Heerden
Simple is the first album with Håkan Lidbo and the jazz musician Alex Van Heerden. In February 2009 Alex died in a car accident i South Africa. Alex’ is missed by many but his music will live forever. More music from their collaborations will be released in a near future.

You don’t like it?
This is a collaboration project between Håkan Lidbo, Shitkatapult label-mate Magum 38 and legendary Swedish cartoonist Lars Ljunesson. The project consist of an EP, a comic book, an online pinball game and some tasty merchendising things, t-shirts and stuff.
