Electrobusking had it&#8217;s premiere August 21, 2010 when Kymatica, LM393, Sloppy Science and The Bird Who Fell To Earth took electronica to the streets. The project was a collaboration with Vice Magazine and the annual Grolsch Blockparty.</p>

- Skulle nog säga att jag är en introvert expressiv reglagefinjusterare!<br />
Vad kommer du spela med för utrustning?<br />
- Det blir mest analoga prylar som går på batteri.<br />
Vilken är din absolut viktigaste pryl?<br />
- En gammal Roland TB-303.<br />
Vilken är den största utmaningen inför att bli gatumusikant?<br />
- Att ha så lite saker som möjligt, som gör så mycket ljud som möjligt.<br />
Kommer du på något sätt uppmana till donationer? Vad kommer du i avsaknad av gitarrcase i så fall samla upp pengarna i?<br />
- En gammal laptopväska kanske…<br />
Tror du att elektronika har någon framtid som gatumusik?<br />
- Jag tror nog att i framtiden så kommer det stå folk på västerlånggatan med en laptop och en liten förstärkare.</p>
<p>THE BIRD WHO FELL TO EARTH</p>
<p>Expressiv knapptryckare eller introvert reglagefinjusterare?<br />
– Jag tror att det krävs lite av varje, men jag gillar att ha lite kontakt med publiken när jag spelar och inte stå böjd och stirra på rattarna som en techno-makaron hela tiden.<br />
Vad kommer du spela med för utrustning?<br />
– Jag kommer ta med mig min 808, som är världens bästa trummaskin, någon synth och ett delay. Det gäller ju att slimma utrustningen på gatan.<br />
Din absolut viktigaste pryl? – Min trummaskin, den är som en funky pansarvagn, med den kan det inte bli fel.<br />
Vilken är den största utmaningen inför att bli gatumusikant?<br />
– Ja det är väl det där med att slimma sin utrustning. Jag gillar i och för sig att jobba med begränsningar, så det passar nog mig ganska bra egentligen. En annan utmaning är ju att fånga in publiken som kanske är på väg någon helt annanstans. Mitt mål är att förbipasserande helt plötsligt ska hamna mitt i en fest som de aldrig vill gå ifrån.<br />
Kommer du på något sätt uppmana till donationer? Vad kommer du i avsaknad av gitarrcase i så fall samla upp pengarna i?<br />
– Det hade jag inte direkt tänkt, men nu när du säger det så. Jag  kanske borde skaffa mig några dansande hatters som kan gå runt med sina mössor och samla in pengar?<br />
Tror du att elektronika har någon framtid som gatumusik?<br />
– Ja varför inte, det gäller bara att hitta en bra plats att stå på där man kan ställa upp sina grejer ordentligt. Sen är det bara att köra!</p>
<p>SLOPPY SCIENCE</p>
<p>Expressiv knapptryckare eller introvert reglagefinjusterare?<br />
- Det här är första gången jag spelar live som Sloppy Science, och trots att musikstilarna för mina olika alias skiljer sig kraftigt åt, kommer uppträdandet förmodligen vara snarlikt ett toymoelstrr-gig; loopade slingor som modifieras mer eller mindre konstant, medelst rattvridningar och knapptryckningar. Jag kommer högst sannolikt böja mina knän i takt till musiken också.<br />
Vad kommer du spela med för utrustning?<br />
- Just nu ser det ut som att jag kommer spela med ett gäng Roland-burkar; TR 606, TB 303, MC 202. Eventuellt tar jag med mig en Elektron Machinedrum UW också.<br />
Din absolut viktigaste pryl?<br />
- Viktigaste prylen i studion är Machinedrum UW, eftersom den styr det mesta. Viktigast live är TB 303. Den definierar ju i princip hela Acid-genren.<br />
Vilken är den största utmaningen inför att bli gatumusikant?<br />
- Vad som är den största utmaningen har jag inget direkt svar på, men det ska bli spännande att se om folk stannar för att höra hur låten utvecklar sig, eller om de bara stannar till, konstaterar att det låter likadant hela tiden och går igen.<br />
Kommer du på något sätt uppmana till donationer? Vad kommer du i avsaknad av gitarrcase i så fall samla upp pengarna i?<br />
- Har inte bestämt om jag ska uppmana till donationer, men om jag gör det blir det sannolikt den silvriga lilla Roland-väskan som får agera sparbössa.<br />
Tror du att elektronika har någon framtid som gatumusik?<br />
- Jag har svårt att se elektronikmusik som någon hit i gatumusiksbranchen, då det krävs någon form av ljudrigg, vilket brukar vara lite knöligt att släpa runt på i tunnelbanan.</p>
<p>KYMATICA</p>

- Jag är helt klart en introvert finjusterare.<br />
Vad kommer du spela med för utrustning?<br />
- Denna gång blir det bara en dator och en hemmabyggd controller.<br />

- Öronen.<br />
Vilket är den största utmaningen inför att bli gatumusikant?<br />
-Det svåraste blir nog att spela för en så ofokuserad publik, att fånga intresset hos människor som egentligen bara tänkte gå förbi.<br />
Kommer du på något sätt uppmana till donationer? Vad kommer du i avsaknad av gitarrcase i så fall samla upp pengarna i?<br />
-Det har jag inte tänkt på, det får väl bli laptop-fodralet eller en ryggsäck i så fall…<br />
Tror du att elektronika har någon framtid som gatumusik?<br />
- Det tror jag, men problemet är att det ofta behövs mer utrustning och att det inte alltid blir lika visuellt tilltalande som en akustisk musiker. Men jag hoppas på att vi får se fler elektroniska gatumusiker  framöver…</p>

SMS, twitter, and blogs have lowered the requirements for us to use the language correctly. Thanks to internet, we have access to a much larger amount of text than just a few years ago. Using trancelaysions, any text in any language can be processed by a chain of machine translators. In each translation missunderstandings and errors occur. When the text comes back to the original language, the result is often surprising, fun and inspiring. The language belongs to us humans but today we often trust the computer to translate. It is doing its best, but it’s definitely not an author. Trancelaysions is invented and designed by Håkan Lidbo and programmed by Jonatan Liljedahl.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Swedish radio have commissioned a short musical piece for the vuvuzela, the much debated plastic horn known from the football World Championship in South Africa. The music, called "Zuzuvela" had it's premiere around the final of the World Cup.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignleft size-full wp-image-1484" title="vuvuzelabigbild" src="http://hakanlidbo.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/vuvuzelabigbild.jpg" alt="vuvuzelabigbild" width="950" height="437" />Swedish radio commissioned a short musical piece for the vuvuzela,  the cheap plastic horn that many think polluted the Football World Championship in South Africa.</p>
<p>This year the WC really had a sound, a never-ending drone that became the soundtrack of the whole tournament. Many people found this very annoying and the sound of the vuvuzela has been widely debated all over the World. In Sweden it has already been forbidden at football games. But the very fact that a musical instrument is a topic is highly unusual. Not since the introduction of the electric guitar has a single instrument been so discussed. The tonal quality of this instrument can also be discussed, or rather the lack of tonal quality. We will probably never see the vuvuzela as an instrument in a symphonic orchestra but it certainly deserves at least one serious piece of music that actually respects the vuvuzela and let it present itself in a new and more flattering context. Håkan Lidbo created a short musical piece that had it&#8217;s premiere play july 9th at Swedish Radio -- and then live at Swedish TV at the finals opening july 11.</p>

The task was to synchronize the video so that each musical element had a visual counterpart and that each musical element had a given place at the screen.]]></description>

Each student were given a limited number of bars from the music, both as audio and screen dumps with the actual arrangement. The task was to synchronize the video so that each musical element had a visual counterpart and that each musical element had a given place at the screen. Bass drum had it&#8217;s place in the lower middle of the screen, the snare drum in the center upper part, chords spreading out widely along the equator of the screen and so forth. The original idea was to let each student have about 10 seconds of the song, one the time, but in the end we decided to let the student Olof Bruce edit the whole thing more in a pop-video fashion. The title &#8220;Mass Individuality&#8221; also comments on the dilemma that every design student faces; to be individual an different -- but always in a accessible and selling way.</p>

<p>Mitote is a piece of Electro-Acustic Music blending the aesthetic from EAM and noise art with electronica and the repetitive beats from the today’s club music.</p>
<p>The process of composing is a musical search and a way of expressing within a genre that the composer is not very familiar with. Finding where the inner music is coming from. Mitote is a concept from the Aztec culture and it means ”inner voices”, those inner voices that makes every person’s life a constant struggle between making the easy choices and making the difficult ones, to do what needs to be done despite fear and lack of self-confindence. For most artists, Mitote is very much about doubt. Creativity can sometimes be paralyzed by self-criticism. The best you can do is to become aware of these voices and to make friends with them. They will never be quiet, i can only choose not to listen.</p>
