Sound design for an app that has a name that is a sound.
Getswish is a joint ownership of the biggest banks in Sweden. : Danske Bank Sverige, Handelsbanken, Länsförsäkringar Bank, Nordea, SEB, Swedbank and Sparbankernas Riksförbund. Also Skandiabanken, ICA-banken, Sparbanken Syd, Forex Bank, Ålandsbanken Marginalen Bank offer Swish. The app has 7 million users and has since its start 2012 made 2 billion transactions. But in the beginning it didn't have a sound. The main sound design is a swish/whoosh that pans, not only from left to right, but also between sending phone to the receiving phone - ending with the sound of rattling coins.To confirm that the transaction is valid, the screen becomes an interactive animation where the users can play with glittering particles that is alos a musical keyboard. Creative users challenge each other to come up with melodies that can be played on the screen.
